      This workshop helps administrators implement focused, targeted, and engaging professional development for teachers.

    • Using Video for Reflective Practice

      This one-day workshop provides a structure instructional leaders can use with teachers to help them effectively engage in and collaborate on reflective practice using Teachscape Learn video capture and sharing tools.

      Offered in two formats:

      • One full day face-to-face session for a cohort of up to 35 participants
      • Two two-hour webinars for up to 50 participants
    • Developing Professional Learning Plans

      This one-day workshop provides participants with best practices for creating Professional Learning Plans using Teachscape Learn for teacher improvement that align learning opportunities with relevant goals, and that are measured using rubrics and monitored using target dates for goal review and completion.

    • Implementing Collaborative Learning Practices

      This one-day, hands-on, interactive workshop explores collaborative learning techniques, resources and opportunities to support improved instruction using Teachscape Learn.

  • Educator Evaluation

    These workshops help observers and administrators use Charlotte Danielson's Framework for Teaching to diagnose instruction, provide focused feedback to teachers, and master observational skills to promote real improvement in teaching practice.

    • Learning-Focused Conversations

      This one-day workshop prepares principals and other instructional leaders to be skilled at engaging teachers in collaborative, improvement-focused conversations about instructional practice.

      Drawing from the Learning-Focused Conversations model developed by Laura Lipton and Bruce Wellman, participants will develop the critical skills they need to provide specific and actionable feedback. They will also be able to differentiate when to be very directed in teacher feedback and when to be more circumspect.

      This one-day workshop prepares principals, evaluators, and other instructional leaders to use Teachscape Reflect data and reporting to plan effective, job-embedded professional development for individual, small group, or districtwide needs

    • Reflecting on Teaching: Making a Plan for Growth

      This workshop for teachers and instructional leaders deepens participants knowledge and understanding of the Framework for Teaching and leverage Teachscape Reflect observation data to identify key areas for growth. Participants learn how to identify and use supporting resources in Teachscape Learn and Teachscape Focus for Teachers.

    • Continuous Improvement: Moving with Results

      This one-day workshop prepares instructional and district leaders to use data from Teachscape Reflect in conjunction with other data sources to support school improvement action planning using a continuous growth model.

  • Classroom Walkthroughs

    For classroom walkthroughs that drive positive, sustainable change, data collection is only the beginning. These workshops help instructional leaders use the walkthrough tools in Teachscape Reflect to analyze data and lead productive conversations that promote reflective practice.

    • Improving Instruction through Classroom Walkthroughs

      This workshop combines the innovative data-collection and reporting technology of Teachscape Reflect with our Classroom Walkthrough Process.

      Participants learn to use walkthrough data as a springboard for reflective dialog to drive collaborative inquiry and decision making as part of a continuous improvement cycle.

      • The workshop uses direct instruction, modeling, reflection, role-playing, and implementation planning.
    • Data Analysis and Reflective Practice

      This workshop focuses on how to analyze data from classroom walkthroughs. Participants learn key strategies for engaging the school community in reflective dialogue about walkthrough data, and how to monitor and measure the impact of new interventions introduced.

  • Observer Training

    These workshops develop observers’ and instructional leaders’ observation skills, accuracy, and inter-rater reliability using Teachscape Focus for Danielson and Teachscape Focus Engine.

    • Applied Observation Skills

      This one-day workshop with coaching helps strengthen inter-rater agreement and supports observers in accurately rating teaching practice and leading improvement-focused conversations with teachers.

      Participants calibrate their observations through on-site co-walks and scoring professional conversations based on a post-observation rubric.

      • For instructional leaders and district administrators.
      • Limited to six participants per workshop, ensuring focused and intensive support to develop skills.
    • Framework Certification Support

      Not all observers pass the proficiency assessment offered through Teachscape Focus in the first two attempts. This one-day workshop prepares those who did not pass to master the five sub-skills that represent the standards necessary for high-quality observations.

      Participants who complete this workshop will learn to accurately assess teaching, minimize bias, and strengthen inter-rater agreement, and will be prepared to pass the proficiency assessment.

      • For instructional leaders, district leaders, and others who did not pass the proficiency assessment in Teachscape Focus in two attempts.
      • Limited to 10 participants per cohort to ensure focused and intensive support for each participant.
    • Calibration Support

      This workshop helps Increase the reliability and accuracy of all observers using the Teachscape Focus calibration tool. This session can support the roll out of a calibration program at any time or as a back-to-school session for observers to activate prior knowledge.

    • Master-Scoring Bootcamp

      This workshop develops the skills required to master-score video content to be used in Teachscape Focus Engine. The two-day bootcamp supports up to 30 master coders in taking specific evidence in support of rationales for assignment of a level of performance according to the client rubric.
