Programs of Study
Customized. Rich Professional Learning.
Designed for districts looking for measurable outcomes from professional development, a Program of Study is a year-long professional learning program, delivering a blend of facilitated online, face-to-face, and classroom-based professional learning experiences. In these comprehensive programs, participants dig into the research, observe exemplary teaching, practice approaches modeled in the case studies, collect samples of student work, and reflect on what they are doing as they collaboratively build a culture of continuous professional learning. Districts engaging in Teachscape's Programs of Study can expect that teachers will not only articulate knowledge of the related best practices, but will also demonstrate observable changes in practice.
All Programs of Study include:
- Twelve months of in-depth study with ongoing onsite and online support
- Facilitated access to the Teachscape XL for 12 months for all participants
- A professional library that includes content-focused video case studies, publications, and research articles
- Facilitator materials that include pacing calendars, sample schedules, discussion prompts, session plans, activities, assessment tools, rubrics, content-focused "look-fors," and more
All Programs of Study are customized to meet the needs of the local district and the schools participating in the engagement. Planning for outcomes is the first step in the data-driven program design process that Teachscape uses in order to ensure outcomes.
