Planning for Outcomes
Program Design. Driven by Data.
Teachscape professional learning builds the capacity of instructional leaders to design, develop, implement, and sustain data-driven professional learning.
- Data Collection, Review and Analysis provides information on student learning needs, characteristics, faculty experience, student achievement trends, instructional strategies, and school/district goals and priorities that form the basis for our work. Using these data we identify your specific student learning needs.
- Data-Driven Program Design is a data-informed approach to developing meaningful professional learning. Instructional leaders and Teachscape consultants review the data and make any necessary adaptations to the selected program of study to reflect the district and/or school priorities, faculty interest and needs, student learning gaps, local context and culture, and emerging trends.
- Professional Learning for Leaders is designed to build the capacity of instructional leaders to improve teaching and learning. Instructional leaders convene as a content-focused professional learning community. They deepen their own professional knowledge and skills through a program of study that includes readings, discussions, analysis of practice, studies of the research, and use of data, including data from observational protocols.
- Professional Learning for Teachers is a program of professional study, facilitated by local school and district instructional leaders. The focus is on improving teaching practice and student outcomes in a specific content area. The processes and impact of this professional learning are monitored and reviewed through multiple data points throughout our work together.
Teachscape provides the ongoing mentoring to enhance the capacity of instructional leaders and the support needed to manage this change process, each and every step of the way.
